I don't even know what a dumpling is I dont think i've ever had meatloaf. These dishes aren't very common here

A dumpling is flour butter and milk, a sticky batter dropped into very hot chicken broth and simmered to perfection making a soft bread in place of noodles in chicken soup.
Meatloaf is ground beef, diced onions, a ton of seasonings, catsup, bread crumbs and an egg kneaded into it to help hold it all together. THen its shaped into a loaf form and baked in the oven usually served with mashed potatoes a brown gravy and veggies

i dont really get chicken and dumplings that often at all and it is fuckin good. so i voted for that.

we dont have "catsup" here in Australia........is it tomato sauce?.......or something similar.......i have no idea........
but chicken dumplings sound good......but not as good as meatloaf, mashed potato and gravy.........fuck im getting hungry

I'm sure you have catsup some people spell it ketchup I can't imagine you don't have ketchup

before i went vegetarian, meatloaf was my most favorite food in the world... so about a year and a half ago i would have voted meatloaf.

I think I am going to make some chicken and dumplings on Monday because all this talk of it is making me want some

I make a mean meatloaf... beef, seasonings, diced green onion, cubed cheese, and all the rest but instead of topping it with plain catsup i mix brown sugar into it and then bake it.. oh and I make mini individual loafs instead of one big one that way everybody gets an equal portion and its not as greasy... but to make up for the lack of grease I make a mess of crispy home skillet fries

meatloaf with italian dressing? never heard of anyone eating it that way

it's the bomb son it also taste good on hamburgers, steak, pork chops etc... italian dressing is the feast of the gods

well I have heard of marinating meat in Italian dressing but I have never heard of pouring it over meat that's already cooked

right, thats cause it would taste like crap
