I'm saving to get A new guitar so i can get rid of my LP and sell it or something else.

my price rance is 500-750ish

i'm thinking maybe a ESP EC-1000 or 500
or maybe a Ibanez 1570
idk i need help from people who play death metal cuz nobody around me really listens to it like i do

Honestly . Godin guitars are made in canada , and the usa . You get north american quality from fit to finish , some of their guitars start around the $499 mark , loaded with EMG's . they are strat style guitars and in all the reviews i have read , they blow away instruments 3 x the price .

schecter make some decent axes . But I noticed a decline in quality with those guitars , they dont feel as nice as they used to . I have an older schecter strat - kicks ass .

bc rich Nj series are fucking nice as well , they are around the $600 mark and are neck through body .

THere are many good choices , dont buy garbage high name guitars made in china cheap - they are shit .

yeah just try not to buy guitars made in asia, they tend to be of less quality. but of course, more affordable

Heh... the MAJORITY of stuff made in China is junk IMO. Be it cars, guitars, jewelary etc.

simply put the best guitar for playing any kind of music, not just death metal is the guitar that appeals most to your soul - if you look at the guitar and it calls out to you... "Pick me up, play me, make me scream" it will be a good guitar

Try it out , IF the guitar gently wheeps as you bend .......... and squeels as you pinch it . You may have found the proper axe .

fender telecaster. make sure and get light guage flat-wound strings.

and only use single coil fender shania twain signature series pickups to boot .

i think jacksons sound good for metal, shecter aswell.

Yeah, Jacksons are my Number One choice in metal guitars.

do you guys know of anyguitars that come with heavier truss rods or would that be something i'd have to special order?

i have a schecter 007 elite 7 string and that thing is almost identical to what jack owen used on live cannibalism. his was the schecter A-7 Avenger (7 strings)

so if u like jack owens sound its pretty good.
