In Colton, California, police were called to a grizzly scene along Interstate 10 Saturday. After responding to a call of someone being struck on the freeway, CHP officers found numerous body parts strewn across the breakdown lane and adjacent median. Strangely, all they found were pieces of a person’s legs – the torso, arms and head were nowhere to be found. A search ensued with a helicopter, the Colton fire department and CHP officers.

Soon after the search began, a CHP officer patrolling a nearby neighborhood spotted a suspicious vehicle. "An officer was driving on Valley Boulevard when he saw a car pulling out of a parking lot," said Sgt. Fernando Contreras. "The windshield had a huge hole in it."

The officer stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver, Lawrence Chico, 20, while his mother, whom authorities did not identify, sat in the passenger's seat. Chico admitted to police he struck a woman on I-10 while driving near 70 mph. Her body broke through his windshield and landed in the back seat. Chico claimed he then panicked and drove to his work, at Denny’s, and threw the body in the dumpster.

Chico has been arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter. The woman has not yet been identified and authorities have no idea why she was on the freeway. She appeared to be about 50-years-old.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT! This dude drove to work with a corpse in his car? That is truely messed up. I wonder what the woman was doing though? If there's a follow up story it should be posted here if anyone finds it just to satisfy my curiousity
