i have a friend that used to be absolutely obsessed with being the fastest downpicker in the world. i never thought that it was all that important to play so many downstrokes, but at his best, he did 250 downpicks in a minute. it was pretty crazy watching him do it. too bad he didnt have any musical talent, his whole life quest was to become james hetfield. everybody that knows him knows him as "Metallica Joe", but now he hates metallica, but fuck, for about 7 or 8 years, it was the only band that he would listen to. worst part is, is that i created the monster, a way long time ago when we were in 7th grade together, he was into bands like Rancid and some other gay punk shit, and then i turned him onto metallica. he fucking took that shit and ran with it.

on a side note, that dude got married and 6 months into his marriage, he ended up cheating on her with 2 guys. there is no relevance to the other story, but he's a douchebag, and i like advertizing his homosexuality everywhere, because he swears that just because he did that, it doesnt make him a homosexual. i tend to disagree, but whatever.
