I voted Barnes.
If I was a mod, I could correct your spelling mistakes on your poll, but sadly I am not. Anywho just so you know, Rob's last name is spelled Barrett. Pat's last name is spelled O'Brien.....Bob Rusay's last name only has one "s" and not two, and finally Paul's last name is spelled Mazurkiewicz.
Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, that'd be a wee bit rude... ah well.
At the moment, George... it's a switch between him and Pat O Brien (more so for Pat's work on Nevermore's "Politics of Ecstasy").

way more brutal then new lyrics
his era of music was more thrashy and brutal instead of technical and not as brutal
he had really really low growls and doesn't do the high ones as much, or hold them for 15 seconds or some bs
alex is fuckin awsome too though, he talks to people and shit and is really nice and a fucking amazing bassist

No. I saw it in an interview with Alex. He said he uses three of his fingers in this pattern:
ring, middle, index, ring middle, index
He said he wouldn't do ring, middle, index, middle, ring, because it would be too much work on the middle finger. He himself even named that a technique a galloping technique, kind of like when a horse runs, it's a steady rythm. That's his secret for being able to play so fast.

I'd say Chris Barnes, without much hesitation at all. I've known DM fans that often say that the vocals don't matter much as long as the 'music' is awesome. I'd only half-agree cos while there's no denying that in all extreme metal, the music will (indeed, must) always be paramount, I still reckon there is such a thing as 'great' DM vocalists/lyricists. No matter what we think of Barnes in SFU and his overall decline in the latter, post-CC years, for me, Chris Barnes, (along with Frank Mullen of Suffocation) will always remain an all-time idol in the pantheon of DM vocal legends. And trust me, I'm a die-hard, highly passionate DM/Grindcore fan with loads of fave bands and tons more beloved records.

yes , 6 out of the 18 years or so is a short time . But most people who know of cannibal corpse think of the ace ventura era , when they looked and sounded the
way they did . Thats why your seeing more & more sites cropping up - just hailing the first four records . I havn't seen too many fansites of cannibal just hailing the later stuff . I think it makes that era even more hardcore - that it was short lived , thats kinda cool in a way .
