Which song from "Gore Obsessed" do you like the best and why ?

So many great songs on this CD, but I vote for "Hatchet To The Head". I love the riffs, the rhythm is really heavy, and I really like the lyrics a lot too. It was a tuff choice, because all the songs are so good.

yah this album has many good, and shockingly groovey songs but my favorite is definently Pit of Zombies!!!

I think it's obvious that I like this one a lot. I like Compelled to Lacerate quite a bit. There's just certain parts in it that drive me crazy!

I picked "When Death Replaces Life" becuase I love the riffs and the solo at the end is awesome.

Well, I keep changing my mind about which song off this album I like the most. At the moment it's Compelled to lacerate just because it's a really infectious song. It also makes me chuckle a bit cos do you remember on the old site when someone pointed out that on the bit where George sings "ruptured figures crawl" it sounds like he's saying "rupture Biggie Smalls"?

i dunno, gonna have to listen to this one again, it's been awhile. but i do remember being just blown away by several of the songs on here. the no remorse cover is fucking awesome though

I guess I'm the only one who REALLY likes Mutation of the Cadaver. In my opinion, it's Alex's best bass song (yes, even better than HSF).

Another new producer, and a harsher ripping sound! Can't get enough of the opening track, cause its so oldschool sounding with the shank beat, and the grinding fluctuation on the riffs. Many treats on this one too, but DROWNING IN FUCKING VICERA is at the top for me. Heavyness, Harmonics, cool double guitar harmoinies, bass melody, and wicked vocal patters. I think this might be their best song ever!

The Metallica song is done with great taste, and is 10 times betterdeath metal style. G.O. is a great album, and I can't FUCKING wait for THE WRETCHED SPAWN!!!

i got to say this was a real good record and had way better artwork. the best tracks i say are pit of zombies, mutilation of the cadaver, doemant bodies bursting, when life replaces death and my pick for best tack was hung and bled i like the really fast vocal style.

I pick Pit Of Zombies because the song fucking rules. The riff is awesome and I also like the song structure but there are other songs I can't ignor like When Death Replaces Life, Drowning In Viscera, Compelled To Lacerate and Dorment Bodies Bursting.

Too many songs to choose from, but I'm listening to this as soon as I get on the bus. Although recently I did a parody of "Compelled To Lacerate", and that's one of my favorite songs... I'm pretty much going to listen to that song first off, THEN maybe Savage Butchery, Pit Of Zombies and the rest is completely up to my mood.

Just about every song on there doesn't lack, it's the most efficient Cannibal Corpse release ever.

I say Grotesque.....two words "Simply Astonishing" this song is brutal and brilliant at the same time, this song takes technical death metal to the next level.....what a great song

I must say 'When Death replaces Life' Not only is it easy to play but its really catchy, the solo is very hard but kicks ass all the same, I would have picked Compelled to lacerate, pit of zombies, hatchet to the head or, mutation of the cadaver but this song just kicked so much ass, and since i can play it it makes it all the more awsome.

I chose Drowning In Viscera. The name of the song is cool and the guitars sound really great on this track.

My favorite is still "Hatchet To THe Head", but "Sanded Faceless" has that grove on the longer verse(s) where it changes... Thats really cool.

Grostesque is my fav on this one. The dual guitar interplay is ingenious. I've never heard anything quite like it before. Listen to this track thru headphones as you can really pick out the different parts this way.

Drowning in Viserva is #2 for me. The punkish riff underneath the solos makes me go nuts!

You know that this is the first Cannibal Corpse album that I heard of? I heard of it last year, but I only got it a few days ago. I ironically heard about it on pluggedinonline. They're a bunch of fundamentalist Christians.

Hatchet to the Head is my favourite, with Compeled to Lacerate coming in a very close second. As a whole, the album is generally O.K. with all songs being pretty good but those were the two that I think stand out the most

When Death Replaces Life but this was not an easy decision. I'm asking myself, "why didn't I get this CD a long time ago"? I had a feeling that this CD would just flip my wig. GOD DAMN!!! I love the Barnes era but this CD just became my fav! Every track is KICK ASS!!!
