anyways, my fave thrash band is megadeth by 10 square kilometres, with metallica and slayer just behind. also id like to add that you forgot all the bm flavoured thrash bands like celtic frost, bathory, possessed...they were all considered thrash metal back in the day!

i cants see whats so great about testament either...they just dont do it for me...theyre decent but nowhere near great

Sepultura should be on there, because "Beneath The Remains" is as fine a piece of thrash as has ever been heard. Its easily as good as Slayer's "Reign In Blood".

Good choices but no Kreator, Vio-lence, Laaz Rockit, or D.R.I. Well i guess you can't put 20 bands on there. It was hard not to pick Metallica for getting Metal on the map. They only had 4 good albums after Justice they went to shit. Slayer started out alittle slow with Haunting but then put together some good shit. The best starting with Regin then with South of Heaven then Seasons. Nuclear Assault had some great albums as well but the others just had some good songs.
