Full Version: I Went Into My Yard Today....!
a mother cat and a litter of kittens! They decided to use the tall grass in the back as a home! It's unbelieveable, but my mom is gonna get a dish toput food and water in so she can make good milk for the kittens. oh god, they are so cute I want to keep one.
thats how i gotten my two pet cats (both brothers), but i found them in my old mustang. lets just say that my emotions was mixed that day to say the least..

I can't though, because then the mother will reject them. i have to handle em when they don't need her breastmilk.
Put them in a bag along with some bricks and then throw them in the canal. Best thing for cats.
plus, the mom is almost there and will attack the SHIT out of me if i try and grab her kids.

hahaha no. I got to hold a couple when the mom left and they were mewing and screaming, and my mom came out with me when we put em back, and the mom popped out of nowhere and tried to attack us, but we got out of the way just in time

Interesting, maybe you will keep one of the kitties. It sucks people throw their pets out of their home, unfixed, and nowhere to go. Eventually they'll end up having babies. But it's good that you're helping out this poor creature and her kittens.

well this sucks. the mom left, took all her kittens except for two. And those were about to get fried in the sun. I took them in, fed them water (drop by drop) and started making them a liquified cat food. I'm gonna take care of these cats if its the last thing i do. I think it might build character.
they sell cat milk at the grocery store you know for kittens
yeah i got a bottle and some powdered kitty milk, and now they are sleeping in a box. They are so adorable.
I have raised more cats than I can possibly count.... the mother cat did not abandon her two babies, she was just getting the others settled then she will continue to look for the missing two. Cats dont mind the scent of humans on their babies... they arent like birds.....so you can handle them all you want to with out fear of her no longer feeding them....she wont let them starve. Cats will even raise puppies as their own if they are nursing kittens at the same time. If you set out fresh ground meat for the momma cat she will come back and if you set meat out again in about an hour along with the two kittens, she will eat and then carry the kittens off one at a time to be with the rest of them. Bottle feeding kittens is a very very time consuming chore, they need to eat every two hours till they are about 3 weeks old, this means around the clock or else the go hungry get puny and do not grow properly. If they die, I wouldnt be surprized, just sad.

I used to have a bird table in the back garden and put stuff on it. It attracted shit loads of different birds until next door got a cat and scared them all away. Those bastard cats. They don't even eat the birds if they catch them, they just play with them. They are sly little bastards too. I just hate them.
Two of my friends used to go cat hunting. They'd throw them as high as they could into the air or swing them into walls. One time there was two sat on a wall so one of my friends punched one in the face and it flew into the other cat and they both fell off the wall. I never got involved, I just witnessed their mad behaviour. I still found it funny though. It was years ago when we were about 11.
My grandad told me that his cat had kittens once and nobody wanted them and he couldn't look after them so he put them in a sack and threw them in a barrel of water and left them for 2 hours. Then he took them out and cut up their bodies. He was about 10 at the time I think he told me.
But anyway, yeah, I hate cats. They are shit animals. Dogs are better and so are monkies.

Cool, if their eyes are opens and they are stumbling around you should be able to pull them thru pretty easy... feels pretty neat being a mamma cat doesnt it.. they are so cute when they are small

I have raised more cats than I can possibly count.... the mother cat did not abandon her two babies, she was just getting the others settled then she will continue to look for the missing two. Cats dont mind the scent of humans on their babies... they arent like birds.....so you can handle them all you want to with out fear of her no longer feeding them....she wont let them starve. Cats will even raise puppies as their own if they are nursing kittens at the same time. If you set out fresh ground meat for the momma cat she will come back and if you set meat out again in about an hour along with the two kittens, she will eat and then carry the kittens off one at a time to be with the rest of them. Bottle feeding kittens is a very very time consuming chore, they need to eat every two hours till they are about 3 weeks old, this means around the clock or else the go hungry get puny and do not grow properly. If they die, I wouldnt be surprized, just sad.

THEY CANT BE MORE THAN A DAY OR 2 OLD AND THAT WHEN THEY NEED THEIR MOMMA THE MOST. BY PICKING THE KITTENS UP AND DISTURBING THE WILD MAMA CATS HOME FOR THEM YOU MADE THE WILD KITTY FEEL THREATEND FOR HER BABIES. MOST LIKLEY SHE WAS INTRANSIT BETWEEN THE THE SHITTY SPOT WHERE YOU FOUND THEM AND THE BETTER SAFER SPOT WHERE YOU CANT COME AND FOOL WITH THEM. NOW SHE IS OUT LOOKING FOR THE TWO LOST ONES WHILE LEAVING THE REST UNGUARDED AGAINST PREDATION. KEEP IN MIND THAT SHE CAN ONLY MOVE ONE KITTEN AT A TIME. DO THE HAMBURGER OR HOT DAWG TRICK TO LURE THE MAMA CAT BACK TO WHICH YOU HAVE TAKEN FROM HER.............DONT DOUBT IT JUST DO IT. DO THE RESPONSIBLE THING FOR THE KITTENS AS YOU ARE NOT THIER MOTHER AND CANNOT CARE FOR THEM OR TEACH THEM THE THINGS THEY NEED TO KNOW.
IF YOU WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING RANDOM FOLLOW THE MAMA KITTY BACK TO THE SITE WHERE SHE TOOK HER KITTENS THEN CALL THE POUND. DONT WORRY ABOUT THEM BEING PUT TO SLEEP CAUSE THEY WONT BE THEY WILL BE ADOPTED OFF AS SOON AS THEY ARE SIX WEEKS OLD.
ANOTHER THING YOU ABSOLUTLEY MUST DO IS GET THE TWO KITTENS YOU BROUGHT HOME TO GO POOP AS THEY CANT DO SO ON THERE OWN AT THIS AGE. AND IF YOU DONT THEY WILL QUICKLY BECOME CONSTIPATED FROM THE STORE BOUGHT MILK AND DIE. SO WHAT YA HAVE TO DO IS SIMULATE A MAMA CATS LICKING TOUNGE ON THIER LIL BOTTOMS AND GENITALS TO STIMULATE A BOWEL MOVEMENT WITH YUR FINGER. I KNOW ITS GROSS BUT THATS THE RESPONSIBILITY THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN UPON YURSELF.
BY THE WAY MY SISTER HAS LITERALLY RAISED COUNTLESS CATS AND I HAVE MY DEGREE IN WILDERNESS CONSERVATION AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT SO WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.
