well i consider Alex webster, the bassist to be one of the best bassists and pretty much the one who writes most of the songs, coolest songs and most inventive riffs, arueably he is the best musician in the group but, death metal being mainly guitar how would they sound how would they of evolved if Alex webster played guitar, starting out or even switching at sometime, now i know its all transcribed to giutar but you play each differently and i think different songs would come form each, and also his riffs and songs being so cool how bad ass would his solos be, especially how would the solo's to his songs go if written by him

I like him playing bass better. I like how he goes from playing with the drums to playing with the guitars and back and sometimes does both at once. Alex is outstanding, but I'd rather have him pllaying bass than guitar

yeah it would probably be bad if he played guitar. because pat is really fuckin awsome. alex is THE most amazing bassist ive ever seen in my life. he brings an element into the band that most bassists havent done. where the bass really stands out instead of sits back and makes it thump. i cant remember one bassist that has achieved that in such a way since cliff burton. maybe les claypool.
