I'll admit that ADRIFT is a really good band for the type of music they play. There going to perform live May 26 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. I'm there. laugh.gif

Not too fond of them... I'll stick with Cannibal Corpse... respect to the stuff they play, I just won't flow with it.

XtremeDeath, thanks, we really enjoy the stuff we write. Kevin from Adrift here. We do have a full palette of songs, some of which are of the lighter variety you may have heard, and some crazier, detuned 7-string things which we are finishing up. We feel that there will be something for everyone in the Adrift stuff. By the way, the show is the Whisky LA on the 27th, not the Knitting Factory, unless our booking agent has some news she hasn't shared with us! Hope to see you there regardless.

Peace/Out.

Kevin

Aaron
They have a good melodic hard rock sound although whean i heard theam i kept thinking "man whean are they going to let Jack do some flameing solos but over all it was good i could see buying it or at leas listing to a couple mp3's of theam wnat more info go to garagebands.com biggrin.gif
Gaz Metal
I listen to lots of different types of music besides metal, and if you look in my music collection you'll probably think "What the fuck is that doing in his collection?" to some of the stuff I have.
Adrift, I cannot get into. I've listened to some of their stuff a few times but it doesn't settle well on my ear drums. It's mainly the singer that spoils it for me. Being a big Jack Owen fan I would like to be into Adrift so I could continue to follow him but unfortunatley for me I've followed him far enough at this point.
As long as Mr Owen is happy though doing what he's doing that's the main thing and I'm glad I got to see him one last time playing for Deicide a few weeks ago.
