Man I've been watching Cannibal Corpse's "Live Cannibalism" again today, and let me tell you that Jack is one bad-assed motherfucker on that guitar. Look at his right hand when he is really picking some of those fast riffs, and you'll see what I mean. His economy of motion amazes me. Not a single bit of unnecessary movement. You can hardly tell his right hand is moving at all sometimes, but there he is ripping off those monster Cannibal Corpse riffs and making it look incredibly easy. Man he is good.

Jack Owen of Cannibal Corpse fame has teamed up with ex-EPITAPH/RESURRECTION drummer Kevin Astl in a brand new band called ADRIFT. The quintet, who play "emotive, agro hard rock," are rounded out by Mark Elm on vocals, Analia Pizzaro on guitar, and Michael Campuano on bass guitar. I hope it doesn't take away from Cannibal Corpse either. It seems like Jack is looking for something else. Of course, I don't know Jack at all so thats just pure speculation on my part, but I notice he was doing "Path Of Man" last summer, and now "Adrift", .... I hope he's not considering leaving Cannibal Corpse. That would be awful.

i dont think he'll leave, i read in an interview that once a week he does some softer more rock stuff so he doesnt go crazy, thats all..he still loves CC

you can play other music without starting a new band, but thats cool, i just don't see wear jack can fit in the two new bands since cannibal corpse are a machine album tour album tour etc. but he should never leave the that would leave only two original members i'll check out the new stuff
