Hmm... I dunno about this guy. I've seen footage of him playing his quadruple neck guitar. This guy is fucking sick on guitar. I consider him one of the best guitarists in the world. I have a Guitar World mag that says he's the fastest guitarist in the world on the front cover.

He is cool as fuck. I've seen his play this fast as fuck solo and it didn't look real it was that fast. I don't know why he isn't more famous than he is.

i think he is the greatest guitarist of all time, i saw a video of him demonstrating his double neck guitar, he can shread on his left handed neck up side down cross handed, its fuckin intense, and if you listen to Speed Kills, when he sweeps arpeggios its so clean and accurate, its unbelievable

I wonder if this dude has a lot of money, because of his guitar playing. I doubt it though... I do think he's one of the world's best guitarists. He may even be among the best guitarists in the universe. I gotta get some of his music.

I agree, he's an INCREDIBLE player! I wonder how much/often he plays to keep his chops up? He's well known in the guitar playing community imo, but when it comes down to it, he dosen't write songs that the average music listener is gonna go out and buy, ya know? His music is musicians music imo. I bet 99% of the people that buy his albums etc. play an instrument.

yea dude i saw him play here a year ago at Alta loma music center. one day i showed up to buy some strings and there he is with his double neck gutiar shredding away. i was wtf!!

hands down. michael angelo batio is the greatest guitarist to ever pick up a guitar. ever. omg. like BC_rich man said up there, his sweeps are so fucking clean and accurate and...fuck omg hes amazing. he should be way more famous then he is. its a shame that hardly anyone knows of him, and those who do, most only know him for the double/quad guitar, which is amazing but a gimic

If you notice all his guitars have a string mute installed, so its no wonder they sound so clean and accurate. No doubt he is fucking fantastic guitarist, but fastest ever ? Best ever ? No.

Have you seen/read /done his 30 hour guitar workout? It's fucking AWESOME!! It's in the April 2004 issue of Guitar World.

Michael Angelo is an amazing guitarist but is nowhere near the likes of Shawn Lane. You get those magazines with "the fastest shredders" but they have people like The Great Kat or whatever, and she is relatively fast but when it comes to vibratos and bends, my ears bleed.

Guys like Francesco Fareri, Shawn Lane, Rusty Cooley and Steve Vai are very fast.
