SHUT UP AND DIE: This Guy Brings A New Level Of Retard (The Pit Of Zombies)
Oh jesus, man - Slayer has some of THE. DUMBEST. FANS. EVER. I used to have that live dvd they put out for GHUA, and all those interviews with the dumbass kids, I had to wonder if Kerry and Jeff were watching these interviews going "HAHAHAHA what a DUMBASS, let's put this fucker on the dvd so the whole world can laugh at 'em". Either that or they truly are totally oblivious to how gay half their fans are, which would be tremendously depressing.
SHUT UP AND DIE: Texting N' Driving (The Pit Of Zombies) It's more of a flaming dork kinda thing.
VILE: Texting N' Driving (The Pit Of Zombies) i used to, not anymore though, i find these people stupid... and i always have. so i was making some stupid choices (among one of the more stupid ones)i got in a car accident about a month ago, it wasn't due to texting, or me doing anything wrong, but none the less i totaled the car and im done texting and driving texting: talk to more people at once. some people don't know how to think and talk at the same time. its stealthy, so for you kids in school, or those kids who don't want their parents to know what their talking about. you get friends who do it, you kinda just pick up on it eventually. more of a high school and jr high thing

DeadbyDawn: This Guy Brings A New Level Of Retard (The Pit Of Zombies)
Very true....blanket generalisations like these about fans, based on the words and actions of a single fan, are unfair and lame. This guy's a bit of a numbskull, apparently. But Slipknot is definitely 'metal' of some kind And Joey, talking of CC having some dumbass 'fans' (it's true, they do), well mate, don't even start me talkin' of very many Slayer fans, then
DeadbyDawn: Devildriver (Fistful of Metal) Devildriver are a relatively new metal act (from Santa Barbara, CA, formed in late 2002) that I remember sort of ignoring and mocking, when I first heard them back in '03. I later changed my mind and began enjoying them quite a lot. Ex-Coal Chamber vocalist, Dez Fafara, unhappy with the band, decided to exit CC, and went on to launch Devildriver (originally Deathride, but the name was dropped due to copyright hassles), with a few like-minded heavy metal hoodlums.Devildriver debuted with a self-titled disc that sounded very nu-metallish (the band's haters call it 'mall core' music ) . At first, I didn't like that album at all, but recently I gave it another listen and find that it's not half-bad really. The band soon changed their style somewhat and started sounding a lot more like grinding 'groove-metal' with quite a lot of catchy melodicism that probably made them quite 'accessible' to certain fans out there. But Devildriver always maintained a punishing aggression and heaviness to their music that I still like. Subsequent albums include the much-improved sophomore effort, The Fury of Our Maker's Hand ('05), the intense, entertaining The Last Kind Words ('07), and last year's excellent Pray For Villains. Fafara is a really intelligent, eloquent and funny guy---and the band's philosophy of "Question Everything' around you in life is reflected in many of their song lyrics and general vibe. Devildriver has toured with several established metal bands over the past few years (including appearance at Ozzfests), and have come down to Australia twice---I had a ton of fun watching them in 2006, but sadly missed out on them last February due to a crazy set of circumstances. Of course, there are loads of better metal acts (and I should know Devildriver are already working (and supposedly half done with) a new album, scheduled for release later this year.
