Soul singer and arranger Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film "Shaft," has died, sheriff's officials in Memphis, Tennessee, reported Sunday.

Singer Issac Hayes seen performing in the U.K. last year. Hayes was found dead Sunday at age 65.

Relatives found Hayes, 65, unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill, said Steve Shular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff's Department.

No foul play is suspected, the agency said in a written statement.

I could see doing that had he chosen South Park over them, but...after proving his allegiance?

Even I can't see that one laugh.gif

He was a hypocrite. It was OK for him to make fun out of almost everything whilst in South Park, but when it came to making fun out of his fucked up Scientology crap, he couldn't handle it.

But still, it's too bad he died.

and here to me is where this gets weird....

"The Hayes family is comfortable with Dr. Kraus' recommendation to not conduct an autopsy," read a statement from the Shelby County sheriff. According to The Associated Press, no autopsy was performed. A public memorial service will be held August 18 at the Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee.

hummm no autopsy for a body fond dead in his house....sniff, sniff...im starting to smell something fishy here....umm hummmm....

Dave, you got some serious conspiracy issue problems, lol. It's in their (Scientologists) belief structure to not have autopsies. And this isn't really unique...the Amish and certain Jewish sects aren't down with autopsies either. So, no worries....no fishies..... laugh.gif

If they did an autopsy on him, I wonder if they would find any chocolate salty balls in his stomach contents.
