Full Version: Priest Dismembers Lover On Easter Sunday
Cesar Torres, 42, a priest at the Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Nezahualcoyotl on the eastern outskirts of Mexico City, was arrested Wednesday for the suspected murder of his lover Veronica Andrade Salinas, 22, on Easter Sunday. After Torres had delivered Easter mass a row erupted between the two which escalated into a violent confrontation. According to one unconfirmed source, Ms Salinas had told Torres she was pregnant and had demanded money. During the fight Torres strangled and killed Ms Salinas. In an attempt to hide his crime he dragged her body into a bathroom where he used a kitchen knife to decapitate and dismember her body. He then wrapped the pieces in plastic bags and drove to the cemetery in Chimalhuacan where he dumped them.
Police were tipped off by the victim’s mother when she noticed the extensive bruising on Torres and linked it with the absence of her daughter. When the authorities came to arrest him on suspicion of murder he came willingly and openly confessed to the murder. Police had already been investigating the deaths of five other women who had been slain and dumped in Chimalhuacan - some of them mutilated - suggesting the work of a serial killer. There is no suggestion Torres is linked to the other murders

INTERESTING....MORE PROOF THAT RELIGIOUS LEADERS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO WHAT THE CHURCH LIKES TO CALL THE "HUMAN ELEMENT". I PERSONALLY THINK THIS MAKES THEM HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD...I MEAN THE FACT THAT THEY ARE RELIGIOUS FIGUREHEADS WHO SPREAD THE WORD OF RIGHT AND WRONG TO THE PUBLIC.
