Full Version: Stupid Allmusic.com Editor Calls Them Black Metal!
Look up Cannibal Corpse on allmusic.com and then go to their discography... click on Kill. Read the review for Kill. The editor who reviewed it called them black metal... isn't that fucking stupid or what?
so what? i mean, seriously, is it that important to correctly label what genre cc is? black metal, death metal, thrash metal... 90% of the population doesnt know the difference anyhow.
did they at least give it a good review?

As an aspiring journalist it drives me fuckin' nuts... to see jerkoff editors like this fucknut writing reviews, interviews, etc. without getting all of the facts right. Saying CC is Black metal... is like saying that Elton John is straight. It's bullshit.
As a journalist working for our local paper, the first thing I was taught was GET ALL OF THE FACTS RIGHT BEFORE WRITING YOUR ARTICLE!!!! I cannot believe that this fucknut confused Death metal with Black metal. It's ridiculous. I mean Death and Black metal are two totally different genres..... the vocal diffrences between the two are an instant giveway. Plus do CC sing about the Occault, Satanism etc.? I think not.
It's dickweeds like this guy...that give journalists (like myself) and the media a bad name.

Well, they exactly don't call'em Black Metal, but they put like this: Death Metal/Black Metal, it's a mistake from that classification of the webpage, not the classifier, not the person made this.
But BM is a great genre!

People are always "labeling" music artist today, the lack the ablity to label them right. It is something you just have to get used to.
