92. Consuming Impulse - Pestilence

( Lyrics )
Consuming Impulse

Pestilence: Consuming Impulse - This is one of the best death metal albums of the late 80's. Before the band released this album, they had another album out called Mellus Maleficarum, which was more brutal, thrash metal. When the band finally released this album, the band retained its brutal thrash style but it was taken to another level. In other words, it became more brutal death metal. This is the case where someone listens to this album. Every song is brutal and heavy but yet, amazing. There's plenty of speed, mid-paced and slow stuff as well as a combo of 2 or all 3. There are also solos, melodies, blast beats, double bass and death metal vocals. So this is basically a total package of heavy, brutal, amazing, late-80's/early 90's death metal.

Choice Cuts: Dehydrated, Out Of The Body, Echoes Of Death, Defy The Master, Proliferous Souls and Reduced To Ashes

This album as a regular album is right now out of print but all it not lost. Right now, Roadrunner Records has re-issued the album as part of a 2 in one package long with other classic albums and some as just regular albums. They are all in stores now. Here's a list of some of the re-issues just in case anyone wants to check some of these important metal gems.

93. Realm Of Chaos - Bolt Thrower

( Lyrics, Review, Official Site )
Realm Of Chaos

94. Subterranial Magnitude - Diabolic

( Lyrics, Official Site )
Subterranial Magnitude

Diabolic: Subterreanial Magnitude - This album is one of the best death metal albums ever released. The best way to describe it is evil, scary, satanic, relentless, chaotic, devastating, apocalyptic, heavy, brutal, blackened death metal officially approved by the imperial majesties of the underworld. This is not some silly statement but it is a complete stone cold reality and you will agree when you listen to it. The band has other albums to their name but this one is the most crushing of them all. This is because of the sound and the production of the album as well as the musicianship of the songs. They are a mix of death metal along with some black metal elements. This is what gives the songs that evil feeling but everything is all crushing. So get this album and prepare for the attack.

Choice Cuts: Extinction Level Event, Deadly Deception, Fleshcraft, Diabolical Perception, Necromancer Of The Ancient Arts and Subterreanial Magnitude.
