For guitar? Cannibal Corpse, Shinedown, Seether, some Korn (the higher parts, can't do the low parts on the 6-string with very light gauge strings). I also write music. I'm working on the guitar part for my song "Vermin Genocide."

Vocally, I'm working on something original. My growls are very diverse. I can do low growls (think The Bleedijg and Tomb of the Mutilated-era Chris Barnes), old-school growls like Eaten Back to Life style, Corpsegrinder style. My screams are original, they don't sound like any particular band. I can also do clean vox. They sound kinda like Korn. Korn rules in my book. Second-favorite band.

dude you should totally get a 7 string so you can hit those lows... or get a nice 6 string and swap out the string and have a store adjust the trust rod and all that shit so u can play low.
